I knew a month or so ago, that an increase had been approved, but when I checked, they hadn't decided when it would go into effect.
Thanks for the warning. Now if I can just remember it. LOL.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Unfortunately, when you do all the mailing where you work you are totally aware of the price increase. But the extra ounce now on postage will be 17 cents instead of 24 cents but if you mail a large (catalogue size) envelope, it wont be 63 cents but 80 cents. The Post Office is crazy in their rates and they should just round things off. I am now scrambling to get all the right combination of stamps.
Just a game they play on us. I was there today too Barbara, mailing off a package to england Air Express - Only $49.80 and we try to send a package a month. Still cheaper than UPS. I bought the forever stamps and no matter how long you have them they are good for 1st class but I will probably only last 6 months.
Can you tell the P.O. POs me.
Love, Maggie

I heard this over the weekend too. Can you still buy the forever stamps at the current rate? (not the increased one?). Glad I did my wedding mailing before the increase!
