Good Morning to all~~~we survived

Well our little township (actually pretty big) really got blasted--
Different areas worse than others----
We just had lottsa tree limbs down(but they needed pruning anyway) --our friends lost power---and Artsy NYACK and PIERMONT (where megga celebs reside--a real beautiful area too) had much damage--South Mountain Road(another ritzy place-bout 2 miles from us) had BIG trees down--
The homes in Piermont are soooo gorgeous---old ---and so inviting--thats what I wanted to buy when we left Staten Island---A home like my grandparents had---so warm---and almost put one in another world---



Now we are are off to see *stuff* ???

Glad to hear that you & hubby are safe..
I have been deathly afraid of storms and high winds ever since I've been a child!!
A few summers back Jack and I were sitting over on the neighbors patio. There were warnings but the sky was clear. Then out of no where the high winds picked up and the rain was coming down so hard that I couldn't see my house. I jumped up and starting yelling and pushing people thru their sliding glass doors at the same time to get inside and down to their basement!!!!! To this day I get razzed about that!!!
I just do not do severe storms well at all.
