"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
And thank you so much for enriching our lives with your special knowledge and insight, so generously sprinkled with love and genuine caring. We all owe you more than you can imagine, for helping to create and shape the knowledge base for this site, and helping to restore order into our perception of the chaotic world of health and medicine.
Much love and appreciation,
Wayne
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."
WOW! What colorful and fun messages! I think I missed something - I had never seen those 2 emoticons - the "star" package and the balloons. They are quite lovely!
Last night Scott took me out for a gourmet dinner - delicious. Tonight my niece had me over for a birthday cookout. I got some thoughtful handmade gifts from her two girls (ages 11 and 6). They had apparently spent several hours finding "crystals" for me before I arrived. They were banging open rocks with a hammer to find "crystals" - they were thrilled with the insides of the rocks. No matter that there were no geodes! Most, in fact, were concrete stones that had only sand inside, but they were as excited as if it were diamonds! Don't you just LOVE kids' homemade gifts???
Thank you for all of your heartfelt comments and good wishes. You are THE BEST, ALL of you!!!
Lots of love,
Polly
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
