Jill,
You'll be in my prayers tomorrow during your procedure. I hope everything will be easily taken care of and you will be on the road to recovery quickly!

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Sorry I am so damn late on this but have really been sidetracked. Best of luck to you today and really hope all goes well and you are feeling much, much better soon.
Love, Maggie

Hi all...I survived....some pain after, but I have pain meds. The anesthetic made me sick...had 3 different anti-nausea meds injected...yuck. I dozed at home yesterday afternoon and some friends stopped by. Today I am better and only took pain meds at 8 this morning....I have been resting today. The blockage is right outside the opening of my kidney, so I will need more surgery and an overnight stay in the hospital. I am still taking antibiotics for my infected lymph node and the urologist wants me to refill the script when it's done. Guess he's worried about another kidney infection. I am taking Cephalexon.
Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes...you guys are the best.
Hello Jill. So glad that that you came through it all and are recovering Ok. How are you reacting to the Cephalexon. I am on the 5th course of it in the last few weeks. I hope it does not have the same effect on you as it does on me.
It is a vicious circle. I take the Keflex to get rid of the bladder infection, it gives me the big D even worse & then the infection starts up again. My doctor is going to put me on a preventative to stop the constant infections. Looks like that will be my lot while I have to do the CISC thingy & that looks to be permanent. Not a very happy camper at the moment. That is why I have not been on the board much of late.
Hope that your problems will be solved with your surgery.
Love
Liz

Hi Liz...wow, you have really been through it...yikes! I am on Entocort, so haven't had any problems yet with the antibiotics. I have only been on it since Tuesday. Time will tell....sigh....and so it goes...Take care kiddo...Love, JJ
