Hi Bubbs,

Thank you for the beautiful card! I'm still playing catch-up after our trip to Vermont and N. H., but will call you soon. It always takes me about 5 days to get caught up after being gone :roll: But we had a great time and I'm in love with Vermont! Our first time to New England, too.

I hope some of your health issues are improving; we're at that age when things start malfunctioning! :wink:

Hi Katy,

We saw tons of sights! Quechee Gorge, Bath, Woodstock, Stowe, Saratoga Springs. Took the Cannon Mountain tram to the top. That was a beautiful view. Then we went to Morse Maple Sugar Farm, von Trapp restaurant where the gardens were beautiful, and then to Hildene. That was a gorgeous place also. The leaves were moderately colored - not peak yet. I liked how clean and uncrowded the state was, and how wooded and green!

Bubbs,

It's because my mind is still somewhere in Vermont. I'm not kidding -
it's been that way since I've been back. Re-entry into my "real" world is difficult! :oops: :lol: If your card had arrived, say, tomorrow - maybe by then my head would be on straight!

But in any case - I'll never be as clever as you!

We just got back from my bd dinner - a little early. Bruce is a sweety - took me to a really nice place where the chef knows how to cook for me and is very gracious about it. A treat!
