Polly - post-surgery recovery going well?

KathyP - How are you feeling these days? I've been worried about you...

Lori - Are you doing okay after visiting the site/spreading the ashes?

Katy - What's new on the job hunt horizon? You *do* know leaving was the right move - even if it may not seem that way right now!

Maggs- Is the vertigo any better?

I'm sure there are more issues - these are the ones that were on my mind at the moment...I'm finding myself short on time to read the board with any frequency. My oldest is having some struggles adjusting to middle school - the expectations are so high - but he lacks organizational skills and self-discipline ( heh heh - so do I!!) He's smart enough that he's been able to "coast" until now.... I'm realizing 6th grade is a lot harder the second time around - science, especially is kicking my butt!!

My next (and hopefully last!) surgery is scheduled for Dec 4. A little "fine-tuning" and switcheroo for silicone. The PS is very pleased with everything thus far, and thinks I'll be quite pleased when all is said and done...I'm thinking I'll just be pleased to be done!

I think I'm coming down w/something - I've had a headache and my eyes feel *funny* the past few days...tonight I'm generally achey, so I'm gonna jump in the hot tub and go to bed - I'm in denial - who has time to get sick?!

Hi Mary,

I still feel the same way, I don't see any change. I once heard a celebrity on a talk show say, "Life is just hard for me." I can't remember who it was, but she is a popular movie star, married to a popular movie star. I was wondering what could make life so hard for her.

I am an extra sensitive person, I didn't even know what that was until I found a book about it. My mother was always telling me I was too sensitive, or why are you so sensitive? I didn't know, and so I just always thought there was something wrong with me. Not like other people. I think some people have nervous systems that are hyperactive, and feel things at a deeper level than other people.

I just think that life is hard for me, things that don't affect other people affect me profoundly. I just cope so badly, and feel so unhinged all the time. I don't know any other way to explain it.

I didn't mean to write so much, I just want you to know this has been a life long battle for me. I'm not going to hurt myself, I just don't feel like I fit anywhere. I'm still ready to go anytime, just not happy about the prospects of how. Please understand that I don't think I have life any harder than other people. That isn't what this is. It is more about me making everything harder for myself, by internalizing and analyzing everything to death.

I hope you will be feeling better very soon!!! You have been through something that would put me under the bed!!! I would deal with it, but not as classy as you have!!!

Mary you are so sweet to think of us when you have been going through your own tough time. Thanks for thinking of me. I appreciate it.

I am doing better.....going to the site was good as it helped me to accept that my brother is gone. It had felt unreal, like a dream until then. I read a couple of books that helped me to realize what I was going through and feeling is normal. I am just taking it day by day and go with the flow of how I am feeling instead of fighting it. It is working much better that way.

You are in my prayers. You are an amazing woman. I admire you tons!
