Paxil

Hi gang...Has anybody here experienced weight gain while taking Paxil ? I have gained 15 pounds since I began taking it....my doc switched me to Fluoxetine. I may have gained weight because I was depressed and over-eating, but he said that one of the side effects of Paxil is weight gain.

I am feeling much better....still unemployed, but surviving...emotionally, I am recovering from the loss of my job of 23 years. Physically, I have my strength back after my surgery and am feeling healthy. I'm still on 2 Entocort a day, but may begin tapering off.

First I want to say--- --on feeling better since your operation

Second I want to say--- --U and my daughter Deb should get together on this Job thing cus she is still *hunting*
Deb lives in CO. she just called,awhile ago, from CALIFORNIA, where she had an interview for job!!!! Beverly Hills!!!!
The women paid for her flight and etc. she is in the business of *social events*--which Deb has been doing for years--until her department was *dumped* BUT this women also gets togerther events for big time *bands* which Deb has never done negotiating with??? Sooooooo--like U she is tripping all over to get a job BUT @ the salary she was used to getting--
This women even asked Deb---*on the spur of the moment would U pack up and spend a month @ different locations!!!

I often think of U when I am talking with Deb---

Deb worked in California for about 16 years or so ---and when her boss moved on to work for the Clinton administration (I kid U NOT) she didnt wanna go to DC---but when she did---she didnt like it~~~ and then her 's took her to COLORADO---and she had a great job till they disbanded 2 years back!!!

She took all kinds temps-----how I worry~~~~~~

NOW PAXIL------I took that waaaaaay back---it was the best --I didnt gain weight----- I felt wonderful --BUT I did have INCREASED *RUNNING RAPIDS*
Soooooooooooo off the Paxil!!!

Thanks Barbara...My problem is that I am looking for a teaching job and this isn't the right time yet...things will start to heat up after Christmas. I really want to stay here! TTFN...JJ
