Big project update............

Hi everyone!

Remember me telling you about the big project that we were working on to obtain designation for a community action agency?

Well...........drum roll please.......................

We were notified today that we are receiving the designation for our county!!!! We are soooo excited!

This will enable our agency to diversify into other social service areas, add programs that have disappeared or have been dimished, leverage other funds/grants, etc.

It is an opportunity for a 3-person agency to grow because of dedication and hard work that is finally paying off. We are just over the moon today!

Just had to share!

PS - a raise is most likely in the works too plus the board wants to discuss Christmas bonuses next week! Guess they recognize good work too! Oh it's so nice to be appreciated!!! :ROFL:

That definitely is good news, and the timing for a raise and a bonus is hard to beat, too, right before the holidays.
