I had my last surgery today - swapped out the temporary saline for permanent silicone. I should be good for 10 years with these. I'm not even in any pain - a slight amt. of achiness - but I haven't touched my meds. Kinda wishing I didn't waste $20 on Vicodin....oh well!
I'm wrapped up but I took a peek - my temps looked great - but these look *fabulous* - or will once the bruising is gone and PS says I will love how much softer they are - oh to sleep on my stomach again!
The pre-op nurses were *so* sweet and told me how great I looked and what a great attitude I had after having to have 5 surgeries this year to deal with this cancer cr*p! Independently, they all raved about my plastic surgeon - so that was *very* reassuring...
Thanks everyone you are all so funny - Kathy - loved the cheerleading boobies!
Barbara- I *have* taken some pics for my own reference, but don't plan on making them public Of course if I ever become famous or decide to run for political office, I'm sure they'll be all over the internet
Joanna - I'm still waiting to see how the final product turns out...The plan was to go for basically the same (I was a small B), maybe a smidge bigger since I was sort of *in-between* sizes. With my temps, I was a fuller B - but since the silicone is not as firm, the same size may not look quite as full-figured - so I guess I'll find out for sure after the swelling is gone...Right now it's "smooshed sports bra uniboob" but the cleavage looks great!
GREAT news Mary! I'm so happy that you are on the road to recovery. This has been a terrible year for you and your family and it's now time to celebrate the new year - full of good health!
You go girl - you are AMAZING!
Love,
Mars
