Well this is surely the pits----I have been surronded with megga headaches since this injection of *cement*--

My nurse friend feels that since the spinal column was *worked on* this might have caused some annoyance to the fluids that run around the head!! Well at least I know I have a *brain*

Today they have been subsiding---I still need to sit on a pillow --and I am very tired--sleep alot---but I do know that I am really *down-in the dumps*---I sorta thought I would be up and hopping around @ this point-

I shall see the orthopedist Wednesday--another Xray and he shall report to the Cement MAN!! :smile:

Not that they can DE-CEMENT me :smile: but want to make sure this is what was to follow---

So if I dont get here tomorrow--- :drinking2: with a toast to a HAPPY NEW YEAR-- :fireworks: :fireworks: --I hope I can stay up to see the Ball come time in Times Square!!!!

Well, that's a bummer, but maybe it's a common effect, until the spinal column gets used to the extra pressure from the cement.

The tiredness, and feeling down in the dumps, could also be due to your thyroid medication suppressing your thyroid output more than necessary. Probably, though, it's just due to your not being able to do the things you want to do. You're usually a very active person, and when we can't be active when we want to be, we naturally feel down in the dumps.

I hope you feel a lot better tomorrow, so that you can enjoy watching that ball drop in Times Square.

Barbara.

Sorry to hear about the headaches but if it is any comfort at all please know you have a headache buddy here. Since that MRI they have been constant and guess the neurologist will look into that too.

You and I will be much better in 2008. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and Lou.

I've been fighting headaches for several weeks now. No Fun. I blame mine in part on fighting a cold, in part of being so tired from running around doing Christmas stuff, and in part from adjusting my anxiety meds (anxiety better, headaches worse...see doc in two weeks).

Feel better soon Miss Barb. And enjoy the ball drop for me. I'll be off to bed shortly.
