Got a notice from my insurance as to the $$$ the Orthopedic charged for the first visit I had to determine the injuries I sustained when I fell down the stairs-

READY---for Xrays---the visit and a description of what the damage was--the bill was $1,800.00 dollars!!!!!!!Can U believe this $$$--charge!!!

So I called insurance and they wanted to know---was this an accident--how did the fall occur---where--when and HOW---well HOW does one fall down the stairs???

I guess maybe they thought if it had been in someones house their INSUR. should be liable--

I was hysterical laughing----being interrogated like I was!!!

This surelyy has been one hell of a time---
Lou is now @ th same orthopedic cus he got the reading of his *knee*

My insurance Co, is probably thinking---*whats with this family* !!they gotta be beating each other up*

It is amazing what physcians (and pharmacuticals) charge! Insurance companies are funny as well. I had to laugh when you said "they gotta be beating each other up". I am just thankful that you do have insurance with that amount!! (I know my insurance comp. is hating me this past two months, lol)

What in the heck are the insurance companies thinking at times? Like someone falls on purpose - only comedians do that (Steve Martin, Dick Van Dyke!)
