While on the Pred.--being *jazzed-up ( I like that Xpression) and zooming around I have to say the only other problem was feeling like an over heater boiler----but of couse I gather *summertime* didnt help either--
I know I added this before --WALK---each day--if U can --if weather permits---thats what my GP's must do--instructions----
The walking was to keep the legs functioning and other issues which I forget--something to the effect of keeping your *vital-inners* AWAKE--cus the Pred. sorta puts everything to *sleep*---the term used to describe it to me--
U can do it~~~~~~trust me---cus U are listening to *scarey Mary* so if I got thru it U can and WILL too---OK
Hang in--

Thanks Barb,
I liked his term of 'jazzed up' too. He is kind of a funny guy. I am noticing a difference already. The pain in my stomach is less and the bowel movements are slowing down some which is nice.
Last night i did the treadmill for 20 minutes of walking. I haven't done anything in 8 months so i am starting off slow (lucky for me hubby is a personal trainer so i can get advice from him!) and i am going to make sure i keep that up every night at least. My joints hurt afterwards but not too bad.
I noticed last night in bed i was *hot*. I had a hysterectomy a couple of years ago and i wondered if it may be part of it too.
I agree, i am looking at all the '*bad* things about prednisone instead of seeing the positives! Thank you for keeping me on track and i know with the support of friends, family and my board family (if you will keep me even though its not MC ) i can do this!

AWWWW we will keep U Erin---- ---people listening---people adding their own issues---people being supportive---like the saying goes---*thats what friends are for*
And arent U lucky to have your very own *private* Trainer----
Mr.Louie-- --is my TRAINER(so he says)---even though I dont listen to him
He used to go to the gym but now we have part of a gym @ home so this is where he works out----
ME~~~~~ I watch him--
Success takes time----U will get on that *wellness-road*

Good to see you sounding happier today It is so easy to see the negative side when you have been ill for so long, something I think I did myself now I am looking towards getting better and starting to laugh once more. I am sure we are all thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery
Thank you all so much for letting me stay! This board is so helpful I have really learned a lot from everyone here. Especially like Mini stated, UC and MC are so similar with treatments and all i still feel i can learn more!
You guys are all great!!
