It's been a long time since we've used the Chat Room. Would anyone be interested in trying it again, if I tried to set up a session for, say, Monday evening? Of course, the Chat Room is always available, 24x7, but it seems that the only way we ever use it, is to schedule a chat ahead of time. Otherwise, it's just about impossible to "catch" anyone there, and it takes more than one to chat. LOL. Obviously, the more, the merrier.

Just name the time.....and I will try to schedule work tomorrow so that I can join you all.......would love to get to chat in real time.....But I'm warning everyone.....I SUCK at spelling when I am typing quickly........and I can't even blame it on the brain injury, I was bad at it before I scrambled my brain in the horse wreck....
I have a question: A lot of us are at work, during the day, (and not supposed to be chatting, LOL), so we usually try to do this in the evening. Since there are five hours of difference between your time, and Eastern Daylight Savings Time, here in the U. S., how late in the day, (evening), could we schedule a chat, without causing you to have to stay up later than you normally do? Do you normally stay up this late? It's already past midnight, there - right?
If we have too much of a problem scheduling a time that will work for most of us, we may have to try it on the weekend, next time.
I'm in!! any time that works for Mini in the UK and east coast....funny I never even noticed that chat icon up there in the corner...talk about observant....

The "Chat Room" runs on Java, so Java has to be activated in your browser, (or at least not disabled). It usually requires the latest version, but if you need to update, it will tell you so, (or else it won't work correctly), and the latest version can be downloaded from the "Help" page that's available from within the "Chat Room".
I'll post a time tomorrow morning, after I hear from Mini, but the chat will be later in the afternoon.

Aww thank you for thinking of me, I am still off sick from work at the moment so staying up later is not a problem for me just now. What sort of time (US time) would you be going into the chat room? Most nights I am up until around 2am UK time .
Wow! You're about as bad as I am about staying up late. It was almost three by the time I turned off the lights, last night, but most nights I try to get to bed before one, if possible. LOL.
Okay, I'm going by London time, (using the World Time Clock link at the top of the page), as a basis for UK time, so that means that compared with Eastern Daylight Savings Time, the time is five hours later, where you are. If I'm wrong, please correct me. So based on that, let's try scheduling the chat for 8 pm, Eastern time. If my math is correct, that should be 7 pm Central, and 5 pm Pacific, and should be 1 am in the UK. With an 8 hour span of time zones, it's kind of tough to pick a convenient time for everyone, but let's try this for today, and we can always make changes in the future.
I'll make a separate post for the announcement.
Thanks,
Tex

It was a lot of fun, and there was good participation, so we'll probably try to do it every week, if possible.
