He retired with the rank of Master Chief which is the highest rank an enlisted person can hold in the Navy. He also took advantage of the educational advantages the Navy offers and has a Masters Degree in Management. I'm pretty proud of him.
There is a lot I'd love to tell you about his various tours of duty but I know I'd get really lengthy if I got into all that, and you probably wouldn't find it as interesting as I do. HaHa

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the Retirement Ceremony. It was just beautiful and so touching and patriotic. I am so glad I was able to attend. After the "Passing of the Flag", Mike presented the flag to me. I was so shocked. Had no idea he was going to do that. Anyway, there was a lot of Pomp & Circumstance. A lot of tradition. It was just beautiful.
