Gloria,
Hmmm I didn't know Medicare only paid every 2 years - shows what I know about it all.
I have done my best to avoid Mammos whenever possible ever since Doctors started doing them. I'm not saying that is a good policy - just that I did it. I have been pretty successful at averaging every other year. I have no idea what the experts recommend after 65 but if Medicare only pays for one every two years, I'm sure that will be the new standard.
I'm no doctor (please remember - but I'm sure you'll have no trouble remembering) but from what I have been told and read, I think if you are very low risk for cervical cancer you could pretty much eliminate the pap.
My Dr. in Pa went along with that theory but my Dr. in Florida believes in continuing. It all depends on who you talk to.
All I can say is research and do what feels comfortable to you.
Barbara........ Sure glad they didn't find any new problems.

Stable bones are a good thing, I'm sure. Like you said... fall down stairs - no broken hip - bones must be pretty good.
Sure hope that spine settles down and decides to give you a break soon (good kind of break

)
Love, Shirley
