Thanks...I call the big black and white male...."Big Guy". He doesn't look like a Mallard, but... the females look like Mallards....could he be a domestic duck that adopted a Mallard flock????? I don't know much about the bird kingdom...any thoughts? Yes, I am very lucky to have found this rental! I asked the landlord to leave his outdoor patio furniture and he did. Some friends brought me the giant dahlias....and a neighbor brought me some of the herb plants....I am very blessed!
