I was hysterical ----was browsing and when I saw Carrie and Jodi's post I had to reply

Thank U for the belated get well wishes------this made my day----I actually laughed a belly full--


YES---this happened last Thankgiving 07!!!!!

Got up to *P* around 3 am---then went and took a little snack and then thought--*I wonder if I shut the puter off* sooooooo I decided to go down --and I did just that--to check--and yup---went down 6 steps--but did it very nicely--it was ass down then back hitting the step---and 6 steps of this--very co-ordinated too I might add

I stood up--in pain--but walked and said *thank god it isnt my hips---BUT the best of the story-
Woke up Louie and said I just fell down the stairs and I am in pain---and this caring man said to me--*Jesus Christ Barbara!! go take 2 alleve and go to sleep*---and I DID-- ---
6am I woke him again and said---*L something is wrong ---cus I am in megga pain--soooooooo off to the hospital--
CAT SCAN showed I had a compound fracture of L1----which is the section that holds up ya entire spinal column-

Yes---6 weeks in a brace----and then the suggestion was---either 6 MONTHS lying in bed for healing or a procedure where they sorta blow a rubber into the fracture--- ---yup thats what it looked like and then they injected what I call CEMENT---which hardens and ---secures the spine---I said *do it* no way am I lying in bed 6 months*for healing and then wondering if I am going to *ooch and owww*
It is an awesome procedure---it was done Xmas Eve Day and I walked to the car Xmas day!!!
TO ADD and this is why I am so friggin constipated cus L1 is the disc that controld *P'ing*--poopin and a few other things--
Also NO cutting---he just watches the screen--sticks in the needles--inflates the balloon and then squirts in the CEE-Ment --mxiture!!!! PUTTY-PUTTY---that was an old song way back---hahahahah--U guys are too young to remember that one----
OH---had some handsome male Technicians that started the *drip* to get me into lala land---
I saw the procedure while searching the NET--cus I knew the precise title for it---and I was like *WOW*

So dear ladies thank U for your good wishes----still laughing--better late than never--as I say--
To add--all my friends said---LOUIE said that to U!!!! YUP said I---and stupid me follows orders---hahahaha

Thought U would luve to hear the story--thats if U hadnt been directed to last years posting!!!!

Are you telling me that the post I answered to was from WHEN???? OMG! Now I truly feel like a Putz!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry. I thought it just happened and I was truly worried about you my friend. I usually abbreviate it m/f until my 11 yr. old grandson; Dylan said "Gramma? Why are you calling that person a M F er?" So since then I type the darn words instead of abbreviate it because I don't want to be accused anymore of calling someone a nasty name. At 11 years old would someone please tell me when his mind was turned to because if he had not been so serious I think I would have smacked him. LOL
Barbara just watch your step and I'm so glad you're doing GREAT and that it made you LYAO because we were so dense.

Was just making a running trip through and that post came up on the recent post list......never looked at the date...I thought you had crashed and burned again...glad to know you haven't had anymore gravity storms...
