Last Tuesday did the brain scan--once again for loss of smell and taste---(if anybody gets this right I will be delighted) anyway---would U not think that after a WEEK the results would have gotten to the ENT guy--sooooooo this morning I called the office and requested that the DR, call me with results-
Technician who did the scan told me that the ENT would have the results that afternoon???
Now I am really sorry I picked this guy---cus as U all might have read---I didnt care for his attitude!!!
Certain that all is ok----but I would really APPRECIATE a call NOW!!!

Haha, Joan. That won't bother Barbara as it's her sense of smell she's losing!I totally understand your frustration about not getting your results in a timely manner. It stinks.
Barbara--not making light of your problem--that just struck me as funny! Hope results come soon and there is something they can do.
We do just lose things as we get older (mobility, hearing, car keys, bone density). Hopefully we never lose our sense of humor!

Hi Barb!
When I went to my GI appt. last month and saw his new nurse practitioner, she's going over all kinds of things and looks at me and says, "You haven't had any bloodwork done in 5 years from this office.
I cocked that famous left eyebrow up and stated, Well, No I haven't, since the GI is usually with me for 5 minutes during an office visit and it should have been up to him to order the bloodwork.
No surprise to me that she went silent!!!!
Just drives me crazy sometimes at the stupidity of some of the so called medical specialists.
So then she writes out a script to have a CBC and a metabolic profile done and then tells me to go to my PCP since she does all of my bloodwork once a year, to see if she wants to add anything else, like a thyroid and vitamin D check.. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!
