Kris has already been home for a weekend---and I believe that it is about 4/5 hour ride----
Lynn picked her up then and her boyfriend drove her back-----so it isnt too bad of a ride--and I think the boyfriend is another issue---

Lou got a Syracuse shirt today--from Kris---birthday present--- with a cute note--
I do believe she will stick it out----just a matter of getting *adjusted*--and as U said---holiday time is around the corner so she will be home for that---

Its amazing how well U think U know your grandkids at a point like this --U start to find out their fears ---things U never thought circulated thru them---

My pleasure, Barbara. I'm glad I helped in some way. It sounds like she's doing better and getting through the normal adjustment period. For some reason, it's very often much harder for the more mature students, I think maybe because they've already outgrown some of the things their peers haven't.

Good luck to all of you with getting through the semester's end. If Kris has already picked courses for next semester, it sounds like she's planning to stick it out.
