I have some in the oven right now to take to work tomorrow. I posted the recipe a few minutes ago for anyone here to enjoy.
I love these - they are made from everyday ingredients - no multitude of flours, no xanthum gum, no special purchases or "different" textures! The "flour" in these is cornmeal - no more. They can be made with almost any vegetable puree, my favs are pumpkin and sweet potatoes. They do have powdered milk, but I believe that could be switched with any powdered non-dairy product (soy powder? non-dairy coffee creamer? I don't know)
The other thing I love about these is they have no processed sugar - only honey for a sweetener!
If you enjoy baking and are craving fall flavors, I hope you will enjoy them!

I made the chebe bread crackers last night and added sesame seeds and a little salt and they turned out great!!! I have a gadget that vacuum packs foods so if I don't eat them all soon enough I vacuum packed them and put them in the freezer!!
Thanks for the tip on them!!!
Awwwwwwwww!! Homemade soups and crackers!!!

Dee;
I made Chebe crackers once and loved them. I used the pizza crust mix for them, and they were awesome! I need to make them again, but now all I have is original. I'll have to try it with sesame seeds and salt! Sounds good!
But, if you feeze them, even if they are vacuum packed, will they stay crisp? I'd think freezing would take out some of that crunch. let me know how it works. I also have a food sealer that vacuum packs them.
