Have you ever heard of Temperal Arthritis ? My Sister was told by a doctor that her severe headaches may be from Temperal Arthritis? Just Curious

Hi Oma,

No, I had never heard of it until I read your post. I noticed that when I do a search for it, the site you posted is the first one to come up, so it must be the most popular discussion about it on the net. It does seem to offer a pretty good explanation of the disease.

A lot of things can cause headaches, of course, so I assume that her doctor has a particular reason to suspect temperal arthritis, (such as the results of a blood test to check erythrocyte sedimentation rate, (ESR), and C-reactive protein test). According to what I read, it's usually treated with steroids, and the treatment works pretty fast.

Yeah Tex, The doctor has done a whole slew of tests. I think My sister is brave, She has Parkinsons, Ms, Fibro and Ibs. They thought she had cluster headaches but now seem to think it is temparal Arthritis. Go figure huh?

Kathy, Yes we have stayed clear of the deer, just by luck I think. I told mike No more hunting with the truck.
