JUst got a phone call from Lynn----while I was chatting here---and Kait is back in the hospital---her head has swollen up and also her eyes--from the medtronics implant---this poor child just doesnt *heal*''
SO===they will remove all that was implanted -keep her for a few days and then send her home where she will have nursing care due to the vanco drip that she will be on---
The thought it is retry it again in 6 months--
Wanna know something folks----this isnt going to work cus her immune system is shot--but Lynn will keep trying and trying and I cant truely say that I see any *light at the end of the tunnel* for her

Thanks for the update. That's a bummer all right, and it's mighty frustrating, I agree - but still, I can't help but feel that if they keep trying, sooner or later, something is going to work right.

My love and prayers are with all of you and I truly hope the doctor's truly find some way of helping Kait.
It's so hard to see her fight so hard and I know you want to jump in with both feet, hands and arms and do whatever you can to help. Knowing you , you would also trade places with Kait just so she could be well.

Morning Barbara,
I don't fault Lynn for trying anything and everything for Kait but I do agree that her immune system is playing a role in rejection and reactions for her. I, like Tex, will never give up hope and I really know you won't either. It would have been nice if you just had a day in AZ to relax when you got there.
She is in my prayers as well as you and Lou.
