Now the doctors have conferred and decided they must do surgery on Cooper's cavernous angioma. Fortunately it is not a tumor but a vascular malformation in the brain. They, the doctors, are deciding on which pediatric neurosurgeon will be performing the surgery. It will be in the next month or so. I don't understand why they first said it was inoperable but now have decided it must be operated on.
Thank you all for your continued prayers for Cooper and his family!

Thanks for letting us know. I'm glad they can operate on it. I pray for a good surgical outcome.

Pat,
Thanks for the update. I'm glad they decided that this can be corrected by surgery. I will continue to keep the whole family in my prayers.

Thanks for the update and the things doctors go back and forth on are a mystery.

Thanks, everyone. This is really tough on my niece and her husband. I can't imagine being in their shoes. I know they appreciate your prayers too.
