update on AZ.

Post by barbaranoela »

So far we have had a few nice dayz-----today raining--chilly again!!

But I guess it beats being home with all the ice and snow and freezing weather--

Next year is debatable---as I said--think I have had enuf of AZ---Doug is my main reason for being here and it always warms me up when I see him and his smile!!!

I think he senses my *thoughts*--and in a way accepts my reasons-

Maybe he could come home for a brief visit--like May--June--

Time will tell--

Happy New Year once again---and a healthier one to add--

I surely understand what you said. I truly don't like living in 2 places. Never have. Maybe I'll change as I get older but "who knows".

I also understand what you said about you and Doug having a "special connection". I love both my children equally but it seems like there has always been something special between my son and I. Maybe it's just the way of Sons and Mothers............ Also, seems like Fathers and Daughters have it too.

Anybody have thoughts on this?

Hi Barbara & Shirley!

Well I am finally home and I am not sure I could take long hauls at living in 2 different areas either. We had thought about snowbirding but think that thought is coming to an end. We had a delightful time away over the NY holiday and longer than usual but welcomed my own bed last night. It was wonderful.

Shirley, I agree with the mother/son, father/daughter connection.

Barbara, I surely hope Doug can visit you next Spring and you don't have to take the hike West again.

Love, Maggie

Living in two places can be stressful, totally understandable. Isn't it funny, but I also have a special connection with my first born boy. And I also love all the kids but he has a way about him.
