first for the correct spelling (of those animals) and also for what they are really like----scarey but a bit *duh*----
I never knew that ----and Doug never gave us the rundown about them--

I gather thats why the kids were harrassing them--yet I dont think I would want to meet up with one!! :grin:

The problem with javelina in town, is that if people start feeding them, they can become semi-domesticated, lose their fear of humans, and then they can become aggressive, if they learn to expect people to feed them. If that happens, they can be much more dangerous than they are out in the wild, and they've been known to inflict a nasty bite or two, to try to convince someone to feed them.
