Dee,

Glad to hear another state is coming on board with this. My only thought, as I read it, was why have to have a written letter from your Dr. Why not accept the card issues by the Chron's foundation? At least this is a step in the right direction.

Jan,
I'm sure that they would not deny the card from the Crohn's Foundation as it is under one of the IBD catagories.

Its about time!!!!!! HURRAY!!!!
I think of all the times I had the scared look on my face and once begged to use the bathroom in a lawyers office and the kindness of the secretary that said---GOOOOOOOOOO!!!

This one is complete. I don't think the one from the CCFA is.

To date, I haven't received any email or snail mail from them.

Joan,

I agree. I got that card after almost losing it in Nevada. I haven't been back there to visit since I got the card so don't know if they would honor it (Nevada doesn't have the bathroom law).

I have the IBD card and a Chron's card and had to use it on the way to NC this time. They honored it and never asked a question after they told me their bathroom was private. Not private any longer.

Maggie,

Thanks for verifying that the cards work.
