I'm BAAACCCCKKKKKK!!

Post by Dee »

Had a GREAT time in Florida visiting with my sister.
The weather was beautiful & in the 80's!!!!
Get ready for this one:
We went to the Eveglades and rode an airboat, and me, of all people, held an alligator!!!!!!
When I called Jack to tell him he couldn't stop laughing.
Got home after 8 last night after being on 3 planes yesterday.
The first one had a cracked windshield :yikes: in Ft. Myers. We were supposed to take off at 10:30 am. Sat in the plane an hour.
After they did some maintenance on it they flew us 20 minutes away to Orlando, where supposedly, from what the pilot :shithead: told us, they would have a plane ready for us to board and get to Atlanta. NOT!!!
Orlando had no clue as to what was going on so we had to stay there until after 2:30.
Got on that flight to Atlanta and got in there at 4pm.
Stayed in Atlanta airport until 6:45.
Arrived in Akron Canton airport after 8 pm to 8" of snow.
It started snowing here in Ohio Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.
Talk about temperature shock when I walked off the plane!!!!
Glad to be home & I see I have some catching up to do on the board..

Love

:welcome: back, Dee. Glad you had such great weather in Florida. An alligator! I've only held a snake...........

The travel home sounds terrible. The snow doesn't sound appealing either.

Glad you are back safe and sound.

Joan

Hey Dee,

Welcome Back!

It's good to see that you're back to caressing the keyboard again this morning.

It is tough to get out of Florida, isn't it. You did better than I did, though - it took me nearly two and a half days before I was able to finally clear the border, when I was there about a month ago. LOL. Maybe that's a sign that we shouldn't be in such a big hurry to leave. Glad you got back safe and sound, despite all the airport problems.

Love,
Tex

Glad you are back safe and sound and probably wishing you were still in Florida.

Welcome back, Dee. I'm trying to decide which is worse: staying here and enduring the snow and cold, or going to a beautiful climate and having to adjust to the shock of the cold weather when I come home. What say you?

Welcome home Dee....do you have all your fingers and toes? I held a stingray once, but I think a gator is even more scary! (it's stinger was gone)

Glad you're home!
