Update on Dizziness :doctor:
Well I went to the doctor this morning. He did some tests and decided that it was not a stroke. WhooHoo!
Was I happy about that
He checked out the ears and throat and nose, all that stuff, here's where I need an emticon that looks like a test tube bug!! after a couple more things he did, he says the tube that allows the sinus to drain on the left side is totally Plugged. That could explain the dizziness, it's just that this time it was more profound. He said your ears are a mess,
Like I knew this already from the many times I've had it. I just haven't been dizzy like this. He also mentioned possible vertigo. He said that with the change in weather, my history with the ear problems and re-0ccuring sinusitis, plus everyone at work is
sick, that I have a very nasty sinus Infection. I woke up this am still dizzy, but not as dizzy as before tanks to the Meclizine. But he gave me of course, antibiotics. He said to take the meclizine and check back with the clinic. And I have to stay home til monday. He said my left lung is a bit congested. Believe me, He has no argument from on staying home at all. At least I can walk with my cane and don't feel like I will fall over. He said he was going to confer with my reugular doctor and see about doing a scan or MRI to see if it helps determine if there is some underlying issue or what. Anyway I shall live, still feel like crap, but will live. My regular Doc will probably senf me to a specialist when I go back for check up. I have no appetite but am eating soup and Jello water tea things like that. Got to go and lay down feel a but funky riht now love Oma

Morning Oma,
Glad to hear that it was not a stroke and it sounds like you might be in for the battery of tests, scans, etc. that I went through. I have come to believe that mine is seasonally connected but will need another Fall to be sure that it is seasonal.
Enjoy the rest!
Love, Maggie

Thanks everyone, yes there will be some tests etc. But right now I'm feeling a bit better. As Long as I take the Mecklizine I can do ok. When I check back with my doctor she's going to refer me to an ear nose and throat guy.

Hi Oma!!
This got me to thinking!!! Can you see the smoke coming outta my ears????
When Jack was diagnosed with positional vertigo, His ENT put him on a water pill and he hasn't had another episode since.. He had fluid building up, too. He uses Astelin nasal spray all of the time because he has allergies all year long.
Wouldn't hurt to to ask when you get in to see an ENT...
I know how frustrating this has to be for you!!
Know that I've been Thinking Of You!!!
Love
