The Amazing Dee!

Post by Polly »

Hi Dee and All,

I spent some time yesterday meandering through Dee's Kitchen, and I'm absolutely in awe of the info there. Such an incredible collection of recipes, tidbits of valuable info, substitutes, etc., etc., etc. I am totally impressed!!!

Now if only you'd pull that cookbook together, Dee! It would be so helpful if the public could have access to it. I think there is a growing need out there for this kind of info. None of the GF or DF cookbooks are very helpful for those of us with MIs, unfortunately. It seems to me there has been a huge increase in awareness about food intolerances - the response from waitstaff in restaurants is so much better informed now, I think. And the number of people who tell me about others they know with these kinds of problems seems to be snowballing.

Anyway, kudos to you for your expertise and willingness to help us all out.

With love and admiration,

Polly

Great idea, Polly. How about it, Dee? You've already done most of the work.......

Polly,

You said it well. Dee is gifted with a world-class talent, and we're extremely fortunate that she so generously shares the fruits of her talent with us. Developing, testing, and fine-tuning all those recipes amounts to an incredible amount of work, in the long run. To me, it seems downright awesome that we have such a skilled chef "right here in the family". We are one lucky family.

Love,
Tex

Thank You my Dear Friend Polly for your comments.
It brought tears to my eyes and made me a bit weepy!
Yes, I have considered a cookbook, website or even offering a CD of the compiled tips, substitutions and recipes. Not real sure as to when that will become a reality, though.
I have just been one that does not like to eat the same foods or meals week after week and like to be able to choose from a variety.
Hope that you are able to add some of my recipes to you MI diet.. I know there are some on there.
:hug1:
