I am so pleased. My younger sister Pat & I are going to see Dralion on Sunday. I thought that I would not be able to go because of the steps, but they have a special section set aside for limpy people like me with walkers & people in wheel chairs.

It will be good for Pat too as she starts Chemo on 15th January, 3 times per week for 6 weeks & then once per week for 18 months. After that it is Radium treatment. She is in for a very long hard slog. They put a bung in her chest yesterday. Her cancer is a very aggressive type it seems.

A warning to all - get that mammogram, even if it is like being in a vice, it may save your life. Pat had miised out on having one for the last 4 years, too busy. Just found out by chance when she rolled over in bed to answer the phone.

Love

Liz,
I'm very sorry about Pat. It certainly does sound like she is in for a really rough time. Makes it even more important for you two to spend some enjoyable time together. I hope it's a wonderful night for both of you.

Liz,

I'm so sorry to hear of your sister's problems, and I certainly wish her the best.

It's great that the two of you will be able to enjoy the show together, on Sunday, though.

Love,

Yes, we are both very much looking forward to it. we went to see Varakai last time it was here & enjoyed it so much. Pat lives on Bribie Island, only about half an hour away from us, so we should be able to keep close contact.

You just never know when these sort of things will hit you. You get up in the morning expecting a good day & before it ends your whole life has changed.

Love

Hi Liz,

So very sorry to hear about Pat and do hope for a really successful outcome. Also, great that they set aside an area for people who cannot negotiate all those steps in a theatre.

Pat is in my prayers.

Love, Maggie

So sorry about your sister. It sounds like she has quite a row to hoe ahead of her. Glad you live relatively close.

Have a great time at Cirqe du Soliel. Those shows are quite amazing.

Hello All,

Dralion was great & we had almost front row seats. I don't think it was as good as Varakai but wonderful, none the less. They are all so talented.
