Barbara, this may sound crazy and I don't know how bad your psoriasis is, but I have found relief with hand cream with olive oil in it. The first time it came as a sample with some olive oil hand lotion but I never could find it again. Now I just got some at HSN and have started testing it. I will let you know if I get any decent results.

Another 3 weeks before my op. Hoping to have some improvement then, in my leg at least.
Busy making chemo caps and the like for my sister Pat. Took one over to her yesterday, a nice bright striped one & she was very happy with it & was going to wear it out yesterday afternoon. The couple that she had were dark colours. My Janome store loaned me a pattern & when I took it back yesterday they gave me some nice soft fabric to make some more for her. When I went to pay for it Jenny just waved her hand & sad not to worry about it. They were so kind that i got a bit teary. People are so nice really.
Joan, one of the remedies that I was given that came from the wife of a skin specialist was Udder Cream. It sounds really odd but I used it on my cracked & bleeding hands with some success. I was up north in Townsville on a coaching trip. It is apparently used on cow udders for some reason.
I have different types of psoriasis. I get a plaque form on my feet. I soak them in "pinetarsol" which helps. I use it on other parts of my body in soap form. I have a special shampoo & conditioner too which helps to control the rash on my head. Get it on & in my ears as well. I think that you have to keep experimenting to find something that works for you. I also have sorbolene on my wash basin & in my shower & use it either to wash with or immediately after washing. Keeping the moisture up on your skin is immportant.
