hello everyone

Post by tamijoy2000 »

Hello, it been a while since I've been on here sorry for that. In the last week been having IBS here and there. But tonite I don't know what going on. I've been to the bathroom 3 times since 10p and it now 12:42a. I just came out of the bathroom. It like explosive. I'm truely hoping this is not a bout of IBD/microscopic collitis.

symptoms:
no pain
diarrhea 3x in the last since 10p

what do I do? Is this a bout with IBD/MC?
I'm still learning bout MC and when and how it flares ups.

Flare

Post by Carol Arnett »

Hi Tami,
I hope you are not beginning a flare. Hopefully you just have a passing bug. I am sure someone with a lot more knowledge than I will be along soon to help you understand what is going on. If you have any Lomotil you should be taking that and if it continues you need to keep hydrated...not just with water or juices but with Gatorade to replace the Electrolytes you may be losing. Good luck, my dear, and I hope someone can help you more than I can.
Hugs, Carol

Thank you. I'll buy some gatorade today (1:21a) I'm a little sleepy from the medications I've taken. Hysocamide and lomotil.

Tami,

It's difficult to say what it could be. Those symptoms certainly fit MC, but the flu is going around, and the CDC map shows "local" cases for Florida.

Tami,

Sure - we can still catch any virus, or any other disease that anyone else can catch, and if we do, we'll have the same symptoms that it usually causes.
