Thanks to everyone for the prayers and well wishes for Cooper. The surgery and all that goes with it was to start at 7:30 AM EST and was to take 5 to 6 hours. It is 1:00 PM EST now and I haven't heard anything and I might not until tonight.
Hello Pat,
I have been waiting anxiously, as I am sure everyone has, for an update on Cooper. Poor little tike....it hurts me to think he has to go through this. As Polly said, little ones seem to bounce back fairly easily compared to the rest of us and I`m sure that will be the case with him. My prayers have been for him and everyone who loves him. Love, Carol
Cooper made it through the surgery just fine. He was in ICU for awhile and then moved to a regular room. He was doing so well that he was even arguing with his 4 year old sister about what color popcicle he was going to have. Whew!!!! Now we just have to pray that he doesn't get an infection but it seems he has made it through the major hurdle!!!! Thanks so much for your concern, thoughts, and prayers!!!!!
