Hi from long lost Sunny

Post by sunny »

Checking in to say HI!!....had a big computer crash and then we got a new computer and then I just forgot all about my old friends...now, how rude is that?
I am doing very well now with 1/2 Immodium twice daily....have started adding raw foods as in green smoothies once a day with lettuce, or spinach, and then some apples and banana and celery or dates or....???
my girls are doing raw foods and I thought it can't hurt ....I can tolerate salads now ,and even romaine. also enjoying nuts and seeds. So I just throw a bunch of veggies and fruits in my blender and have at it!!

Started having Atrial-Fib and had an over night in the hospital so they could cardio-vert my heart....kind of like re-booting the computer!! and it reverted to a regular rhythm....now am on coumadin to keep blood from clotting and also 320 mg of Sotalol to keep heart rate slow. So I have been busy researching all that stuff.
I guess I just phased myself out of MC group and didn't realize it!!
I'll try & remember to check in more often with you all!!

Good to hear from you Sunny!!
Sounds like you are doing much better and tolerating foods!! Yeah!!!!!!!
Sorry to hear about the Atrial-Fib, but glad that they were able to convert your heart rhythm back to normal. I know that when the rhythm goes haywire it can cause quite a scare.
I've been on heart meds for over 15 years for PAT which is a problem with the electrical part of the heart muscle misfiring and it triggers a rapid heart rate. I only get a spell of it every once in a while when it will over ride the meds.

Hi Sunny,

It has been a while, hasn't it. Sorry to hear about the other problems, but I'm glad to hear that at least your MC is behaving itself. I hope you can check in more often, now that you've got a new 'puter,

Thanks for the update.

Hi Sunny,
I've been wondering how you've been doing. On this board, no news usually is good news. I'm glad to hear that things are going better.

Hi again

Post by sunny »

Thanks friends for the nice comments! Yup! there is light at the end of the tunnel, and no, it's not a train!! It is such a relief to have relief from the LC and to be able to eat lots of formerly forbidden foods that made me sick. I just joined an A-fib group and I'm trying to be as positive as I can about this new wrinkle in heart issues.....I have confidence in the cardiology group that treats me, so that's good....couldn't say that for the Gastro group , that's for sure. I'll check back in soonly.
