Sure is awful quiet around here today!!!!!
Is everybody hibernating???????
Went to HFS and grocery to pick up fresh veggies and some other needed supplies.
Dang!!!!! It's cold out there. 15 degrees.
Forgot to put on my longies before heading out!
Found some interesting spices to add to my stash.

Black Peppercorn/Garlic
Gonna turn into a cavewoman for dinner tonight!!!

At that temperature, it could be an ice cave. We're 50 degrees warmer here, (I'm embarrassed to admit).
Y'all need to trap that dang groundhog, and ship him to Alaska, if he likes cold weather that much.

Tex

Yes, hibernating, Dee. In addition to the cold temps we got another 10 to 12" of lake effect snow here.
Tex, wanna do that dance twice? We need it!
Love, Carol
We were a balmy 12 degrees this am (with a wind chill of 6) here in Knoxville, TN. We had 2 inches of snow on Monday and the kids have not had school for three days now. The kids are loving it the snow (I am too being from Florida), but I am ready for them to go back to school.
BTW, I LOVE garlic on chicken too (and fish for that matter). I love anything that makes your breath stink. Unfortunately, DH does not.
It's BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR here too - right now it's a warm and comfy 6 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh I hate this cold weather, I can't wait until Spring!
Trying to stay warm,

Carol!!
If you keep getting that lake effect snow (they are saying it will continue until midnight)
we're going to have to get you & Harry a snowmobile and, of course, helmets to go with it!!!
Rose!!
If your feelings are like mine, I'd like to be in Florida right now! I should have stayed when I was down there In January. I bet those kidders are loving the snow!
Margie!
Get your longies out!!
I'm realllllllly missing !!!

Thanks, Oma! Maybe that'll do some good. As widespread as the cold air seems to be up there, I'm not even sure that Fred Astaire could have handled a job that big, and I've got zero talent, next to him.

Teaching full time is maxing me out, but I wanted to take sometime to check in. Where'd your picture go?????? It always made my day to see your smiling face! Hope you are well.
Thanks for the heat dance, keep it going. It is 13 degrees this am, but at least school is open today. The kids loved the snow as we don't get too much of it here. This is the most we have had in a couple of years. I don't mind it either (I love the change of seasons) except for the Raynauds in my hands, but I wear the hot hand heat packs in mittens all the time so it is not too bad. BTW, I love the dancing penguins (they are my favorite animals). I do miss Florida though because all of my family (and dh's family) lives there.
