Tex**update on Cat

Post by annie oakley »

Hi Tex, well we think it,s a Bob cat. Mike thins what I saw crossing the drive way was a really large ferral cat, of course I am not totally convieced. Anyway, twice now we have put food in the trap and something has been in there and put a very large hole in the side. Whatever it was found the weak links and worked at it and got out. We have caught armadillo and coons and possums and other critters and none have made that big a hole. Unless it was a coyote or wild dog (haven't seen any wild dogs around lately tho) Mike has repaied the cage/trap and we will see. May have to buy a new trap. We saw a pretty good sized cat the other day also, Mike said it was a bob cat, he saw him clearly as he was chasing the Quail(which is a no no around here. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance

Hi Oma,

There's no telling what you might have caught. There are probably a lot of good-sized varmints around there. Raccoons will come to most cat bait, and some of them are extremely strong.

The bobcat population around here has really increased in the past few years, and I'll bet that's true for most of Texas.

Love,
Tex

Hope you catch whatever it is...chasing quail is not good.

I'm afraid that our big kitty is still around. One of our neighbors Min Pin's went missing after running loose unattended...and they are afraid that the cat got it...At least our place is all pasture, so if it is still around, it's staying in the woods around us...Win ,Win...
