Let's Try to Set Up A Chat For Saturday, Again. :gathering:

Hi all,

The turnout for last Saturday's Chat was rather slim, for various reasons, so let's try again, this week, to get together for a chat on Saturday.

Let's try to have a chat at 5 pm Eastern time, 4 pm Central time, 3 pm Mountain time, and 2 pm, Pacific time. I believe this would be at 10 pm, in Edinburgh, Scotland, and 11 pm in Madrid, Spain, (Saturday night). It would also be 8 am in Brisbane, Australia, and 9 am in Canberra, (on Sunday morning), in case Liz or Lyn might have a chance to join us.

I'm putting this notice up a couple of days ahead of time, so that as many members as possible will have a chance to see it. I hope to "see" you there.

I am sorry that I will miss the chat, but I will be dressed as a cookie to help my daughter's Brownie Troop sell Girl Scout cookies at a cookie booth at the time of the chat.

I certainly understand. Not only is that a worthy cause, but one doesn't get an opportunity to dress as a cookie every day.

Joan, I know, wouldn't that be great. Maybe Dee could come up with a cookie and pitch it to the Girl Scouts. Hmmmmm.

Tex, I know, it should be fun although we are expecting a lot of rain today (hopefully you will get some rain for your corn) and hopefully people will be out food shopping. I'm the co-leader of her troop and I love to be silly so this is right up my ally. As long as no one tries to take a bite out of me (except dh - of course).

Dang computer won't accept the active X control for the chat tool. Says it has no publisher. And doesn't appear in the untrusted list, so I can't even just allow it.

So I doubt I will join you all this chat until I find a solution to this stupid security. May have to wait till dh gets home as knows how the security works better than I do.

Hi Lyn,

Sorry you were having that problem. If you can't find a faster solution, downloading the latest version of Java will usually resolve the problem.

Hi, sorry I missed the chat again. I feel so left out! My Saturday's are somewhat unpredictable, but it's still the best day to try. Had too many errands to run and take care of. By the time I got home, you guys were done. Hopefully next time will work. JoAnn
