Hi Jodi,
Have you seen Tex's poll on personality types?

INTJ is one of the Myers Briggs personality types. You can do the online test.
The I is for introverted, and INTJ people usually like to take our time and think before splurting things out - the exact opposite of Extroverted people who tend to talk as they think.
We are all different (thank goodness).

Mia,
Yes, I am in remission, by diet alone - I have never taken any meds for MC. Many of us here are in remission, some who take meds, and some who do not, but the problem is that right after most people achieve remission, they stop posting, and they just "ride off into the sunset", and go back to enjoying their previous live.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Shekoe,
The arthritis is part of MC. When I was reacting, I had several fingers with red, swollen, extremely painful joints. A couple of them even started growing crooked, as arthritis-affected fingers tend to do, after a while. Both knees bothered me, but one was really bad, so that at times, I had to use a cane to walk, and my back gave me a lot of problems, too. My left elbow became so tender and painful, that I had to wear a pad on it for several months, because whenever I accidentally bumped it, the pain would virtually bring me to my knees. After I cut gluten, (and a few other things), out of my diet, and my body had time to heal, I threw away the cane, and now my fingers look normal, (except that the two crooked ones remained crooked.
). I've been in remission for 5 years, now. I still have some arthritis, of course, but it's no longer a serious problem.
