OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! LAST NIGHT WAS AWESOME!

Post by jodibelle352 »

Hi All!!!!!!!!!!

Last night was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bigbighug: :pulsinghearts:

I can't remember the last time I had so much fun and laughed so hard. If you can picture this in your mind the oldest people there were my Aunt Pat and Uncle Clare who are in their 80's now. Aunt Pat is the only one left from my Mom's family and it was so funny to watch her trying to keep all of us cousins in LINE! ROTFLMAO!!!!!

23 cousins showed up for this gathering my cousin Frank being the oldest. LOL 68 now and his sister Cookie who is 55 being the youngest. I wish you could have been there to this it would have brightened your day! At least it brightened mine.

Needless to say NOT one of us were behaving ourselves very well and several times during the evening we all got the "pointed finger" from Aunt Pat. Giggle :Itchscratch: I have NO IDEA how she thought she was going to keep all of us in line because I know in my heart of hearts she was praying for help from above hoping that our parents would reach down from Heaven and help her out. Which didn't happen of course. :butterfliesonrose: I love this woman dearly but found her efforts to control our antics funnier than hell. LOL

I forgot just how much fun our family reunions use to be when we were younger and I'm so glad that my cousin Chuch desided to take the bull by the horns and put this gathering together. We're actually planning on doing this every 2 or 3 months just for the fun of it.

If anyone has ever thought about getting together with cousins who you've lost touch with. DO IT!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will not regret it!

Chuck was the first one to slip and said; b _ ll sh _ t in the presence of his mother (Aunt Pat) WAY TO GO Chuck!!!!!!!!!! Then a few other curse words such as sh _ t, da_n, h_ll and omg!!!!!!!!!!! Poor Aunt Pat was doomed! :manynanas: None of us were paying any attention until she decided to make each of us put a quarter in a glass every time we said a bad word. Then at the end of the night after we had all paid for our meals and tipped the waitress she gave all the DAMN quarters in the glass to the waitress also!!!!!!!!!!! At one time because my cousin Adiel said the word;f_ _ k she made him put $5 in the glass. :shithitsthefan: BOY!!!!!!!!!! did the shi* hit the fan when he did that.

By now everyone gets the point that last nights gathering of cousins was a GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for listening to me rattle on but I had soooooooo much fun I just wanted to share the evening with everyone here.

Love and God Bless:
Jodi

That does sound like great fun.......I'm jealous.

All my cousins are spread out from coast to coast. We only see each other for weddings and funerals it seems. Luckily, we all have the internet. I've been following my first cousin's son's battle with testicular cancer (he has a blog) and my aunt's near death experience with pneumonia. Both are doing well now......

Sounds like you all had a great time Jodi. Just what the Dr ordered I reckon. Hope that you keep to your plan to repeat it frequently.
