A week of depression....Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by jodibelle352 »

With everything going on with our oldest daughter; Renee which I've mentioned on a previous post I guess I should have known that eventually the Depression would hit.

It hit me Monday full force and it was like "here I am"! I have a habit of holding everything in and at some point it is going to surface and in this case it was like a volcano erruption. My poor David sure had his hands full with this menapausal beauty. I kid you not I was hell bent to confront Renee's uncle and aunt for putting her through this horrible rejection by them. Then the anniversary date of my Father's birthday came and he's been gone 32 yrs. OMG! I lost it!

I have been nothing more than I pile of mush all week long. Today I'm doing much much better and at least the feeling of helplessness has gone and I'm at least able to see FINALLY because my eyes have been swollen shut for 3 days from so much crying. It sure sucks when your age shows and all the menapause symptoms come at full tilt.

That's why I haven't answered many post because I couldn't help myself let alone anyone else.

Love and God Bless:

Thank You Tex and I love and care about you and everyone here also. I was just having one of those weeks. At least I'm learning to deal with these bandits when they hit. I'm very blessed to have the husband I have because he surely had his hands full with me and it was pleasant.

Love:

Depression

Post by Carol Arnett »

Hi Jodi,

I, too, am glad you are feeling better. At least you know what the problem is when depression hits. I have been in your shoes a few times without actually realizing what was wrong. That`s plain scary.

I sincerely hope that you continue to feel better and better. Love, Carol

Morning Jodi,

So glad to hear that you have been able to beat that bout. It can come on so suddenly but to be able to get over it is a real triumph. Most of us have had to deal with it one time or many times.

Hope today is a great one.

Love, Maggie
