I either have a huge problem with being brain dead as my oldest grand-daughter; Erica is leaving Sat. a.m. for Texas! As she and her fiance will be in a wedding for her fiances Mother. Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! She just picked up her dress for the wedding yesterday and I am needed to work over time making some alterations and a hoop slip for underneath. Got about half done last night but am waiting for her to deliver to me the other matrial needed to finish sometime this afternoon. So please say a prayer that this Grandma can get everything needed to be done by tomorrow night!

There's nothing like a wedding, for providing plenty of work, to keep mothers and grandmothers busy.

It's nerve-wracking, but it's also very satisfying, and enjoyable, (especially when it's all done), isn't it?

Still waiting for the material I need to arrive so thought I stop in and answer any post. LOL

At least if I stop in and read a few and answer a few it lifts my spirits when I'm certain at this time that I am REALLY pushing myself BIG TIME to get this dress finished by tomorrow night.

Erica my Grand-daughter told me last night when I needed to do some measurements so I could start and in 2 hours I had already completed the upper portion of the dress. Well Erica gives me a hug and says;"Grandma, you're physco!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe you've got this much done already."

So if anyone says: You're Physco!!!!!!!!!!! It translates as you are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially if it's coming from someone 25 or younger. LOL

Time is really getting precious but my oldest daughter called and said;"Mom, I'm on my way to get the rest of the netting you need and will drop it off later." Oh Dear Heavenly Father, give me the time and patience I now am fully aware that I'm going to need. Oh I almost forgot, please leave a smile on my face when my Grand-daughter arrives. Amen!"

It's 3:56a.m. and I finished Erica's dress! Now I am going to retire to bed to cuddle up with my pillow, blankie and my Honey! I've told my Grand-daughter I expect and photo of her and her fiance at the wedding for payment of my work. LOL When I receive it I will post it so everyone can see what I was working on.
