If you're getting the message "disk boot failure," it means your hard drive is going. You should back up all of your files ASAP.

Thanks Gloria. I am backing stuff up each day onto my 16gb external drive. I make it a practice after losing important file before when my drive went & another time when I got a virus which could not be repaired & I had to reformat my hard drive. A lesson well learned.

I don't think that many people realise either that a hard drive can go at any time.
