I have a matter of GREAT IMPORTANCE to share with each and everyone of you. I am also asking each and everyone of you to open your hearts and take the time to mail a card, letter anything you've made from construction paper. Please go to the following site and read the article and lets do what we all do so well and grant this courageous young boy his wish.
As many know, I live in Michigan. However, I also come from a very small county; Tuscola County and the towns and cities are very small and everyone knows everyone.
When I read this article in our Tuscola County Advertiser I decided that I was going to ask each and everyone of you to reach out to this young boy.
The young boy is: Adrian Gerber
P.O.Box 201
Caro, Michigan 48723
We have family members on this site from ALL over the WORLD!!! All I'm asking is please send this young boy a card! Do this for Adrian not for me. If receiving cards is what will make him happy with whatever time he has left then lets play a part of putting a great BIG SMILE on his face from the Potty People!
I pray that our Lord will guide as many as possible to participate in my request.
Love and God Bless Each and Everyone of You:

Please read and reply to Adrian's request for cards. If you click on to the site posted you will beable to read the article on him in our County Advertiser. All he's asking for is some cards, some with animals, funny ones and since his birthday is Tues. April 21st it should make things sooooooo much easier. Just send him a birthday card with best wishes.

I finally got a card ready to mail - it will go out in the morning. I thought he might enjoy a funny animal birthday card, with a custom stamp, picturing a Texas roadrunner.
Love,
Tex
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
This has to be a very difficult time for his parents and family. As the article stated "it's just a matter of time" for Adrian. When I read the article my heart just went out to him and thought "what the heck" all I can do is try to get a few cards sent out and knew that my extended family here would come through.
I know what it's like to loose a child and it's the most undiscribeable pain any parent can go through and even though they may want his pain and suffering to be over there is still NO WAY to prepare yourself for this kind of loss.
On the positive side, as I've been doing my very best to do today is to stay positive and pull myself out of the spiral course I was on yesterday towards depression. I must be getting stronger because I did manage to pull myself back. I know the love and support I've received from everyone here plays a big factor in my mental, emotional and physical wellness. I've truly been blessed.
Thank You for sending Adrian a card. As I posted before, Tuscola County isn't very big in size and I'm certain the Advertiser will update Adrian's story as things progress which I will post so all can follow up on how he's doing.
Love Ya!
God Bless:

I got Adrian out a card this morning. It was a World Wildlife Fund card with all kinds of animals and very cheery. What a brave and giving young man he is.

When I read Adrian's story the Guardian/Protector in me went into "full steam ahead mode". LOL
None of us can hardly understand or believe how or why something like this has to happen to such a young life. His request for cards seemed so unusual and completely unselfish. Hearing about the young girl going through chemo that he just went into her room and gave her quarters to get herself something special from the vending machine just about put me to my knees.
The support from all the PP has been amazing. JoAnn.....what a GREAT idea you have and are going to have your students do. It's awesome! I just wish I could be a mouse in the corner of his room hiding when he gets all these loving cards from all over the U.S. and other Countries.
Sending so many cards and filling Adrian's mail box with sooooo much love is so much fun and I am truly grateful to everyone who is sending cards to him and be part of what his wish is.
I love you all!
