Surgery
Well I had my pre-op appt today and I am set for surgery Thursday morning at 6 AM-I sure hope Doc isn't groggy in the early AM
They will be removing scar tissue and doing skin grafts/plastic surgery, I was told my behind would be in front of me, or at least some of it! So with a little luck and the good Lord this will be the final procedure. I brought my photo journal on DVD and looked through most of the 300 or so photos I have taken of myself throughout this ordeal. The Doc was somewhat surprised and asked for a copy. He said he had never seen anything like it, Being the shutterbug I am I started taking photographs of myself everyday, 2,3,4x a day. It was the only way I could see the progress, week 1 compared to week 5 and so on. Anyhow I am not sure if he thought I was a kook, or what

Dan,
You're lucky I'm not doing the surgery - it takes me a while to get going in the mornings.
That sounds as though it may take all the fun out of sitting, for a while, but hopefully it won't be for long.
Best of luck during the surgery, and I hope it heals quickly, (and totally without any complications, this time).

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Delta,
Best wishes from me, too, for a speedy and uncomplicated recovery.
I was wondering if you had recovered completely from your ordeal, so now I know you are almost there.
Those photos must be something else. As a doc, I would be very interested to see them, but I doubt that many others would be. LOL!
Love,
Polly

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
