Busy Busy Week Ahead Of Me..........

Post by jodibelle352 »

:pigtail: Hi Family!

What a week this will be. Today David will see his urologist; Dr. O for his prostate cancer. This is something he goes through every 3 months. Hormone injection, PSA, physical exam etc. He's been doing quite well so don't feel that this apt. will be much different than any other.

On Wed. I have to see my GI. Had all my post lab work done on Fri. and will get the results of that. I'm hoping she will be pleased to see that I'm wearing a size 6 and weigh 102lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still not where I would like to be but at least by following the GF Diet and taking 6mgs daily of Entocort I truly feel that my check up should be a good one also.

 I was quite upset on Fri. however, because when I went to get my lab work and was sent back to have the draws I was informed that I needed stop by the dest before I left.
Apparently one of the labs listed was NOT covered by Medicare. They were contacting the Dr's office for another dx's that would make whatever lab work done covered by Medicare. :shithitsthefan: Believe me the !@##$%^%$# was about to hit the fan because the way the office person was handling the situation I felt like they were going to hold me hostage until the amount Medicare refused to pay was paid in full.

Just one more thing for me to be aware of and make sure that the dx's is right in order for Medicare to cover the test. It really gets disheartening when you have to right on top of everything that's being done in order to make sure you don't evnd up with a huge medical bill you can't possible afford to pay in full. :Itchscratch:

I'm thinking that all of us in this PP Family should all receive degree's and extra payment for everything we have to check and recheck in order to make ends meet.

Will let everyone know how things go as I intend to get a copy of my lab work so that I can relay what test and what my lab work shows.

:angelpraying: Love and God Bless:
Jodi

Good luck with the appointments this week for you and David, Jodi.

I hope everything goes smoothly.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
