GALAHAD!!!!

Post by barbaranoela »

So sorry I missed the post in reference to the TIA issue if it had been that---

Lou had 2 TIA's with him his one eye just went totally black---could see nothing---lasted about 15 minutes and then sight came back----but stubborn as he is --would not go to the hospital--until a few dayz after and they told him that good thing it stopped at the eye cus the next stop would have been the brain!!! They kept him and did a thorough check--

His second occured about 2 years later--in the opposits eye--lasted a shorter time--this time we zipped to the hospital--

And of course --they are termed mini strokes--again---he was checked and carotic artiers etc. A-OK

Is everything OK now??

Hi Mrs. Columbo,

I did a lot of research on it, and I'm sure it wasn't a TIA. I never had any real symptoms of a TIA - nothing ever stopped working right, and no part of my vision in either eye went black, not even for a fraction of a second. It was just an aura, in the form of a scintillating scotoma, that slowly expanded, just as they commonly do, during a migraine aura.

I'm OK. Thanks for asking.
