probiotics?

Is it ok to take a probiotic daily or just when needed?

You can take them every day if you want. I usually take mine while I'm having a major D attack and then for about a week after.

I take a probiotic daily - not sure I will do it forever but I know I am not healed yet. You may actually need extra probiotics if you are on antibiotics - be careful about spacing out antibiotics and probiotics - antibiotics can kill the good bacteria if taken at the same time. Also be sure to replace good bacteria with probiotics when you do a prep for a colonoscopy or other GI procedure.
