I wanted to try and catch up with all the posts but I'm not going to make it. Too tired.
Actually got here yesterday afternoon. Trip was OK but looooong. I really hated stretching it out into 3 days. I really couldn't tell if it helped Mom or not (stretching it out) since she was plagued with headaches during the whole trip.
Kept 3 appointments today and am wiped out tonight for some reason.
At least I got the stitches out of my lip. They were really getting aggrevating. Wound is healing but it's still pretty ugly. Probably will be for quite a while. Oh well, working on getting nice teeth and end up with a scarred lip. Go figure.

I'm glad to see that you and your mom are back in Florida, safe and sound. Yep, three days is a pretty long, (and tiring), trip.

I hear you. Sometimes it seems like the deck is stacked against us, doesn't it.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I'm glad to read that you made it OK, though I can sympathize with your feeling tired. Hopefully you can rest and take it easy for a while. I hope your lip heals quickly.

You never know what you can do until you have to do it.
Glad to hear you and mom made it safe and sound but so sorry to hear how long and tiring it was. Not a short trip from PA. When you get some time, could you let me know a few places in Florida that you would suggest for a December to February "snowbird" vacation that wouldn't break the bank and we still might get good birding. No rush since it will be a couple of years but it is something we are intending to do.
Love, Maggie
P.S. know the teeth and lip issue - been there and done that. LOL
