Have you all read this WSJ article in Tuesday's Health and Wellness section?
Entitled: "On Navel Lint and Other Scientific Triumphs" by Melinda Beck

Found on-line at

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142 ... 58552.html

I laughed myself silly. Think many of you might also. Laughter really is the best medicine.

Hi Gayle,

Thanks for a great read for the afternoon and the laughs it inspired. $1.5 million from the National Institute of Health for a grant to see if men or women hammer best in the dark. Another great use of our tax $$.

Love, Maggie

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hey all

Interesting. HaHaHaHa!

I have thirty five years of designing, building and repairing furniture and never used a nail. It hits close to home. Or maybe the hammer.

WOW how funny! If I had only known?

I should have been doing it in the dark.

I will have to pass that on to my many woodworker friends.

Thanks for the laugh

Love

Matthew

That was funny!

Just think about all the things we take for granted and act upon without rigorous scientific proof.

Remember "We hold these truths to be self evident..."

If controlled, double blind studies had been required to prove that statement, the Continental Congress might still be bogged down trying to get validation to prove that statement, and we in the USA would have much different accents!
