Beer

Post by Delta »

It's been 9 months or longer since I have had a beer, I was never a big beer drinker but on occassion I did enjoy a "cold one" at the end of a day of fishing or hunting. I bought a six pack of Redbrige gluten free beer at BevMo last week, and yesterday after a long day of deer hunting in 100 degree temps I decided it was a good time to take a taste test, or two. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted, crisp and light with a perfect amount of hops. I say its a winner. Thanks Anheuser-Busch!

Great. I'm glad you like it. It is definitely something that I can live without. :drinking:

No chocolate, on the other hand, is just killing me.

My husband loves Redbridge. He avoided beer for many years because it made him feel bloated (now we know why). He's actually tried a few other GF beers and likes Redbridge the best.

Dan,

 Kudos to Anheuser-Busch.

Man, y'all open big game season pretty early, out there in CA.

Dan,

Thanks for the beer review. Been thinking about trying a GF beer but have been reluctant to try one. Now if I could only find a "great" pizza that is GF,DF,SF life would be good.

Oh Hotrod, I agree. A GF/D/SF pizza would bring great joy to my life.

I made one w/o cheese. Frozen prepared crust and spaghetti sauce and fresh mushrooms, fresh basil etc. GOOD.

That is a sore subject with most of us around here, it is probably the worst time of the year and that's most likely the reason they do it. Of course the only zone open is A which is from the coast inland approx 100 miles(columbian blacktails) all the other zones open later end of Sept I believe.

I'll have to check the pizza dough mix I'm using but I think it is soy free and I make it using rice milk, so no dairy either. I don't add cheese, I just use a little sauce, some fresh picked tomato and squash from the garden and some chopped spinach and itailian herbs on top, darn it now I'm hungry!
